The purpose of the Church in Cambusbarron is to provide ministry to the congregation and grow disciples in the faith. Our mission is to reach out into the community and spread the Good News of salvation in Jesus Christ. We have, therefore, developed a number of groups to enable this to happen. These are:

WORSHIP GROUP
Under the leadership of Graham Nash, our minister, to plan and deliver services.

DISCIPLESHIP GROUP
To promote learning opportunities through bible study and short courses eg Christianity Explored, which are open to everyone.

CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
Headed up by our Community and Families worker, this group runs and co-ordinates activities to include children and families to ensure they are part of the fellowship of the church. This includes organising Messy Church, outings, informal family gatherings and Sunday School.

PASTORAL GROUP
This group, led by one of our elders, has been set up to care for the elderly, housebound and those needing support.

WELLBEING GROUP
We are exploring opportunites to provide practical support for those in Church or in the community who are facing isolation and could benefit from contact.

SHARING GROUP
The group ensures the practical and social activities of the church are in place. It facilitates congregational fellowship, family gatherings and wider community engagement.

COMMUNICATIONS GROUP
This group oversees the printing of the Steeple News (church magazine) and other publications as required.
